Oakwood Premier Melbourne is a 40 storey, 139 metres tall, hotel and serviced apartment project that was four years in the making. Opening in 2021, Detail Furniture + Lighting provided over 900 modern bespoke lighting items to the many and varied facilities within Oakwood including; hotel rooms, restaurant, fitness centre, executive lounge, residents’ lounge, games room, a co-working space, multipurpose function areas, boardroom and various outdoor terrace spaces.

A stand out space is the top level, 40th floor, sky bar with 360-degree views of the city. The selection of sleek furniture and back lighting for bars and shelving enhance the experience of this impressive space. Also creating an impact on entry are three oversized custom made mesh chandelier installations in the lobby that float from the ceiling.
